European Parliament growing impatient to see progress on EU-Mercosur trade deal

With Brazil’s presidential election coming up in October, MEPs are asking about the future of EU-Brasilia relations. Members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) discussed this with the Executive Director for the Americas of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Brian Glynn, on Wednesday 31 August.
