26/07/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission published an implementing regulation to renew an anti-dumping duty on imports of molybdenum wire from China on Tuesday 26 July. This product is used in many industrial sectors such as energy, automotive, aerospace, etc. A duty was initially imposed by the EU in 2010 before being renewed and extended to imports of these products from Malaysia. The representative of the European molybdenum wire industry, Plansee SE, submitted a request for a review of the measures to the Commission in 2021 when the anti-dumping duty was due to expire. The institution decided, after investigation, to renew the measure, maintaining an anti-dumping duty of 64.3%. See the implementing regulation: https://aeur.eu/f/2qi (LM)
