Joint undertaking Circular bio-based Europe launches first call for projects with €120 million

The Horizon Europe joint undertaking “Circular bio-based Europe” (CBE JU) launched its first call for projects on 22 June. CBE JU is a €2 billion public-private partnership set up by the European Commission on behalf of the European Union and the Bio-based Industries Consortium. CBE JU aims to foster research into bio-based solutions for the production of chemicals, materials, food and feed ingredients and soil fertilisers.
