Social Climate Fund, no support for French Presidency of EU Council’s latest proposals

23/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 22 June, the French Presidency of the Council of the EU failed to see support for its new compromise proposals on the regulation establishing the Social Climate Fund (SCF)—the dossier also being slowed down by “strong resistance” to work on the ETS BRT, the EU emissions trading system covering buildings and road transport, which will serve to finance the SCF, reported a source.
