European Parliament approves budget corrigendum to help EU countries receive people fleeing Ukraine

23/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 23 June, the European Parliament approved (576 votes in favour, 3 against and 13 abstentions) the report by Karlo Ressler (EPP, Croatia) on the draft amending budget, which increases the 2022 appropriations of the EU budget to support people fleeing Ukraine because of the war started by Russia (see EUROPE B12976A18).
