Brussels, 17/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – MEPs on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) approved on Tuesday 17 May a draft report by Czech MEP Martina Dlabajová (Renew Europe) on the Path to the Digital Decade through 2030 (74 votes in favour, 1 against, 1 abstention). As a reminder, this action programme should enable the EU to strengthen its sovereignty and leadership in certain digital areas by promoting inclusive and sustainable policies for the benefit of citizens and businesses. The Parliament’s negotiating mandate with the EU Council was also adopted on 17 May (74 votes in favour, 0 against and 2 abstentions).
