EU condemns murder of Al-Jazeera journalist

11/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – The High Representative of the Union, Josep Borrell, strongly condemned on Wednesday 11 May the murder of Al-Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh during an Israeli army operation in Jenin (northern West Bank). Another journalist, Ali Al Samoud, was injured. “It is essential that a thorough, independent investigation clarifies all the circumstances of these incidents as soon as possible and that those responsible are brought to justice”, warned Mr Borrell....
