10/05/2022 (Agence Europe) – On 10 May, the Commission adopted three new equivalence decisions certifying that the Covid-19 certificates issued by Indonesia, Seychelles and Vietnam are equivalent to the EU Digital COVID Certificate. These three countries will therefore be connected to the EU system and the EU will accept their Covid certificates under the same conditions as its own Digital COVID Certificate. At the same time, all three countries have decided to accept the EU Digital COVID Certificate for EU nationals on arrival, the Commission added in a statement. With the accession of Indonesia, Seychelles and Vietnam, the number of countries and territories connected to the EU system has increased to 67. The decisions will enter into force on 11 May. (SP)
