European Commission presents a recommendation to strengthen EU cooperation with Norway on VAT

26/04/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 April the European Commission published its recommendation to strengthen the cooperation between the EU and Norway in the fight against value added tax (VAT) fraud and recovery of claims. The EU-Norway agreement on administrative cooperation, combating fraud and assistance in the recovery of claims in the field of VAT, in force since 2018(see EUROPE B11956A27), is estimated to have alerted Member States to around €5 billion of potential VAT...
