ETAF calls for harmonised European approach to role and status of regulated tax advisers

Following the public hearing in the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Tax Matters (FISC) on the regulation of intermediaries in the tax system (see EUROPE B12938A17), the European Tax Adviser Federation (ETAF) welcomed in a statement the European Commission’s announcement of a public consultation on the regulation of tax advice at EU level, to which it wishes to contribute.
