21/03/2022 (Agence Europe) – On 18 March, the EU Council amended its Decision 2014/486/CFSP on the EU Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) and added new temporary tasks, including advising the Ukrainian authorities - in particular the Ukrainian Border Guard, the customs service and local police forces - on facilitating the influx of refugees to Poland, Romania and Slovakia and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. EUAM Ukraine also has the task of mapping border traffic between Ukraine and the EU and facilitating the exchange of information on this subject between Ukraine, the Member States and Frontex.
