MEPs from Committee on Regional Development call for a Climate Change Adaptation Fund

A delegation of nine MEPs from the Committee on Regional Development (REGI) called for the creation of a new Climate Change Adaptation Fund on Thursday 24 February, at the end of a three-day parliamentary visit to the German and Belgian regions hit by last summer’s catastrophic floods.

The REGI Committee Chairman, Younous Omarjee (The Left, France) once again made a strong case for the creation of such a fund (see EUROPE B12787A11).
