The draft legislation on corporate sustainability reporting is an EU directive

04/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – In our article outlining the agenda for the upcoming ‘Competitiveness’ Council at the end of February (see EUROPE 12883/3), dated 4 February, we wrote in the headline that the French Presidency of the EU Council would seek political agreement on the ‘regulation’ on sustainability reporting by certain companies (CSRD). As indicated in the standfirst, it is actually a directive. We apologise to our readers. (PH)
