European Commission proposes €2.8 million from EGF to support Spanish automotive workers

21/01/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 20 January, the European Commission announced a proposal to provide €2.8 million in financial assistance from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to 450 workers made redundant in the automotive sector in Catalonia. The aim is to help them find a new job by supporting them to acquire new skills or set up their own businesses, the Commission explained.
