The European Commission announced, on Thursday 16 December, the launch of a new tool to promote trade with the Eastern Partnership countries.
A few days earlier, the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine were in Brussels for the Eastern Partnership Summit (see EUROPE 12855/12).
The online ‘Eastern Partnership Trade Helpdesk’ provides useful information for importers and exporters from the EU and Eastern Partnership countries. It allows users to access trade data by sector and by country.
Like the existing Acces2markets platform, the Eastern Partnership platform provides information on tariff preferences, for each product, and market access conditions.
