17/12/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 17 December, the European Commission paid €126 million to the Estonian recovery plan and €41.1 million to the Maltese recovery plan as part of the Next Generation EU Recovery Plan. These sums correspond to 13% of the overall budget allocated to each national plan. With 42% of its financial allocation devoted to climate objectives and 22% to the digital sector, the Estonian recovery plan is endowed with €969.3 million in the form of grants only (see EUROPE 12805/7).
