25/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 25 November the European Commission adopted the new blacklist of airlines banned in the EU. The new version of this list includes 97 airlines. Of these, 90 airlines certified in 15 states are included on the list due to their competent national aviation authorities lack of compliance with safety standards. In addition, seven individual airlines are also on the list because of “serious safety deficiencies”. Two others - Iran Air (Iran) and Air Koryo (North Korea) - are subject to operational restrictions and can only operate flights within the EU with specific aircraft types. It should also be noted that all airlines certified in Moldova have been removed from the list, thanks to improvements made by the country. See the list: https://bit.ly/3laJHRv (TM)
