European Parliament sets out its expectations for 12th WTO Ministerial Conference

MEPs adopted on Thursday 25 November, by 383 votes to 31 with 280 abstentions, a resolution detailing their expectations for the 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12) of the World Trade Organization, to be held in Geneva from 30 November to 3 December.

The day before, they had adopted by a narrow majority an amendment calling for the temporary lifting of patents on Covid-19 vaccines (see EUROPE B12839A14).
