24/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 November the European Commission adopted two new decisions certifying that Covid-19 certificates issued by Singapore and Togo are equivalent to the EU Digital Covid Certificate. “As a result, both countries will be connected to the EU system”, a statement said, and holders of certificates issued by both countries will be able to use them under the same conditions as holders of an EU Digital Covid Certificate. Both countries also agreed to accept the EU Digital Covid certificate for travel from the EU to their territory. To date, 51 countries and territories on five continents are connected to the EU Digital Covid certificate system. The two decisions adopted will enter into force on 25 November. (SP)
