European Commission appoints new Head of Representation in Slovakia

23/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – Vladimír Šucha has been appointed Head of the European Commission’s Representation in Bratislava, announced the institution on Tuesday 23 November. He will take up office on 1 January 2022. Mr Šucha, a Slovak national, has worked for the European Commission for 15 years. In addition, Siegfried Ruhl from Germany has been appointed as an adviser hors classe to the Directorate-General for Budget (BUDG). He will provide strategic advice on the implementation and possible evolution of the EU’s diversified financing strategy, which aims to raise up to approximately EUR 800 billion under Next Generation EU.
