Start of interinstitutional negotiations on European Year of Youth on 6 December

Negotiators from the Council of the EU and the European Parliament are expected to meet in a few weeks time, on 6 December, to try to agree on the modalities of the 2022 European Year of Youth (see EUROPE B12791A9).

The two institutions, which hope to reach an agreement before 1 January, have already worked separately on the proposal for a decision presented by the European Commission on this subject (see EUROPE B12812A1).
