Interim agreement on hiring of vehicles without drivers approved in European Parliament committee

16/11/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 15 November, MEPs on the Parliament’s Transport Committee approved the agreement on new rules for vehicles hired without drivers for use in freight transport (38 votes in favour, 3 against, 2 abstentions). An interim agreement between negotiators from the EU Council and the European Parliament was reached on 26 October (see EUROPE B12821A5).
