CAP strategic plans, forests and ‘climate package’ on agenda of EU Council of 11-12 October

The EU agriculture ministers will meet on Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 October in Luxembourg to discuss a number of issues, including the state of preparation of the strategic plans for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), the EU Forest Strategy and the agricultural aspects of the ‘climate package’. Many other topics will be discussed under ‘any other business’.

The reformed CAP will enter into force in 2023 and Member States are invited to prepare their national strategy plans...
