06/10/2021 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided on Wednesday 6 October to close the case that brought the UK before the Court of Justice of the European Union on the grounds that the UK authorities had not fully recovered €100 million of illegal State aid granted under an intellectual property tax exemption scheme for multinational companies that are based in Gibraltar. The UK has recovered all of the illegal State Aid, albeit with a delay, said the EU institution. (MB)
