Appointments in DGs Justice and Consumers, Publications Office and International Partnerships

The European Commission decided, on Tuesday 5 October, to appoint Ana Gallego Torres as Director-General of the Directorate General Justice and Consumers.

Ana Gallego Torres, a Spanish national, is currently Director-General for International Legal Cooperation and Human Rights in the Spanish Ministry of Justice. The date of effect will be determined later.

The Commission also appointed Hilde Hardeman as Director-General of the Publications Office. Ms Hardeman, a Belgian national, has 26...
