EU RESPONSE TO COVID-19 / Health
EU has disbursed EUR 34 billion of EUR 46 billion committed to fighting Covid-19 in partner countries

The EU, its Member States and European financial institutions (Team Europe) have so far disbursed EUR 34 billion of the EUR 46 billion committed to help more than 130 vulnerable partner countries cope with the impact of the Covid-19 crisis and combat the coronavirus, the European Commission said on Thursday 16 September. 

This disbursement exceeds the amount of the initial support package (EUR 20 billion through reallocation of existing funds) promised in April 2020 (see EUROPE...
