22/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 22 June, the European Commission launched a consultation and forum on the Digital Compass 2030 (see EUROPE 12734/11). This toolkit should enable the EU to achieve its digital goals for the current decade. Specifically, the Commission is seeking views on accelerating the digital transformation, ensuring coordinated and timely action, identifying policy options to support the objectives and implementing multi-country projects to stimulate investment. “Today we are asking Europe’s citizens and businesses to share their views and help us prepare the next Digital Compass policy programme, which will guide the digital transition”, said Executive Vice-President for a Europe fit for the Digital Age, Margrethe Vestager. The consultation will remain open until 3 August 2021. See the consultation: https://bit.ly/3gPaWPu (TM)
