Portuguese Presidency of EU Council to finalise draft conclusions on adaptation to climate change

On Tuesday 25 May, the Portuguese Presidency of the EU Council informed Member States that it was to open an informal silence procedure to approve the draft Council conclusions on adaptation to climate change.

In concrete terms, the national delegations had until 17:00 on Wednesday 26 May to express their objections to the latest Portuguese draft conclusions. If there are no reactions, the document will be considered approved and forwarded to the Member States’ ambassadors to the EU...
