21/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said, on Thursday 20 May, that his country will not ratify the agreement on a post-Cotonou partnership sealed at the end of 2020 between the European Union and 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (OACPS) (see EUROPE 12616/7). “All our proposals were swept aside. So, certainly, we will not sign this agreement”, he told Reuters, saying that the agreement was likely to increase migration to the EU. (MB)
