Fourteen Member States commit to act to ensure better protection of LGBTIQ persons in EU

18/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – At an informal meeting on Monday 17 May - the International Day against Homophobia - European Affairs Ministers from 14 Member States made several commitments to protect LGBTIQ persons in the EU (see EUROPE B12659A22). The Belgian, Cypriot, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Irish, Italian, Luxembourg, Maltese, Spanish and Swedish governments assured, in particular, that they will strengthen their dialogue on this issue.
