Signing of Vienna Declaration on clean, safe, and healthy transport

On Tuesday 18 May, many European countries adopted the Vienna Declaration to stimulate clean, safe, healthy, and inclusive transport and the first ever pan-European master plan for the promotion of cycling.

The Vienna Declaration was signed by ministers and representatives of the 56 member countries of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe at the 5th High Level Ministerial Meeting of the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme.
