France seeks mirror clauses for EU trade agreements

18/05/2021 (Agence Europe) – According to French President Emmanuel Macron, “mirror clauses” should be introduced in free trade agreements to help avoid unfair competition from products imported into the EU that do not conform to internal market standards. He said this during a video conference organised on Tuesday 18 May by the French Agricultural Council.
