Member States add Israel to list of third countries whose nationals can again travel to EU for non-essential reasons

The national ambassadors of Member States to the European Union decided on Wednesday 5 May to include Israel on the list of third countries whose residents may once again travel to the EU for non-essential reasons. The decision is expected to be endorsed by the Foreign Affairs Council on 6 May.

Israel’s health situation is satisfactory, meaning it joins the 7 countries currently on the list (Australia, New Zealand, Rwanda, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and China on a reciprocal...
