29/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 April, for the sixth consecutive month, the European Commission published a series of reports by online platforms that have signed up to its Code of Practice to report on the measures they have taken to curb disinformation about Covid-19 (see EUROPE 12503/1). The reports published on Thursday were submitted by Facebook, Google, Microsoft, TikTok and Twitter and include information on the new features introduced by the platforms. Some have, for example, expanded the list of false allegations that can lead to content deletions, or added warning messages about content spreading unfounded rumours. As with each set of reports, however, the Commission regrets that the information shared is still not precise enough. To view the reports: https://bit.ly/32X1LF6 (AC)
