21/04/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 21 April, the representatives of the Member States to the European Union appointed two judges and two advocates-general as part of the partial renewal of the composition of the EU Court of Justice, as the term of office of 14 judges and 6 advocates-general expires on 6 October 2021. Eugene Regan of Ireland was reappointed as judge and Dimitrios Gratsias of Greece was appointed as judge. Athanasios Rantos of Greece was reappointed as Advocate General and Nicholas Emiliou of Cyprus was appointed Advocate General. The terms of office of the two judges and the two Advocates General will begin on 7 October 2021 and end on 6 October 2027. (MB)
