Commission consults on possible improvements to its Directive on combating terrorism

24/03/2021 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 24 March, the Commission launched a public consultation to feed into its assessment of the Directive on combating terrorism, three years after its entry into force. It covers “the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and coherence” of the rules, the Commission explains in a statement, as well as “the impact of the rules on fundamental rights and freedoms, the Rule of law and support and assistance to victims of terrorism”.
