Fourth round of European Parliament/Council negotiations on ‘Climate Law’ scheduled for 12 March

According to information gathered by EUROPE, the fourth session of inter-institutional negotiations (‘trilogues’) on the ‘Climate Law’ is due to take place on 12 March.

Discussions between the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on this dossier, which began on 30 November, have so far not led to any concrete results (see EUROPE B12649A10).

The stakes are high. The aim is for the co-legislators to agree on an EU regulation which not only introduces the objective...
