21/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – Eurozone annual inflation was -0.3% in November 2020 (0.2% in the EU), stable compared with October, according to data released by the Statistical Office of the EU (Eurostat). The lowest annual rates were registered in Greece (-2.1%), Estonia (-1.2%), Slovenia and Cyprus (both -1.1%). The highest rates were registered in Poland (3.7%), Hungary and the Czech Republic (both 2.8%). Inflation was very low in Spain (-0.8%) and Germany (-0.7%), low in Italy (-0.3%) and almost zero in France (0.2%). The biggest contributions to annual inflation in the eurozone came from food, alcohol & tobacco (+0.36 percentage points, pp), followed by services (+0.25 pp), industrial goods excluding energy (-0.07 pp) and energy (-0.82 pp).
