04/12/2020 (Agence Europe) – Twenty-four regions from nine different European Member States sent a joint letter on Thursday 3 December to the President of the European Commission, the President of the European Council, the President of the European Parliament. and the three Member States that will hold the rotating Presidency of the EU Council, calling upon them to take action to strengthen the role of the regions in the EU decision-making process linked to the post-Covid recovery. They want to be involved “at the highest level” and to take part in the design and implementation of the recovery plan, particularly with regard to the preparation of national plans.
