European Court of Auditors calls for justification for increased resources for EU rapid reaction in 2021-2027 budget

Ahead of the forthcoming opening of negotiations between Parliament and Council to finalise the arrangements for strengthening the EU Civil Protection Mechanism in the framework of the 2021-2027 budget (see EUROPE B12574A16), the Court of Auditors warned on 2 October against an increase in resources that is not sufficiently justified.
