EMA starts rolling review of candidate vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer

06/10/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Medicines Agency (EMA) announced on Tuesday 6 October that it has begun the rolling review of data from the Covid-19 candidate vaccine developed by BioNTech and Pfizer. This fast-track procedure, which has already begun for AstraZeneca’s candidate vaccine, allows the European regulator to review the test data while development is underway, without waiting for the laboratory to submit its final complete application.
