28/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – So far, 190 organisations have already expressed an interest in joining the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance, a source told EUROPE on Tuesday 28 July. Officially launched on 8 July last, in parallel with the Hydrogen Strategy (see EUROPE 12523/1), the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance is a European initiative to channel the investment needed to produce hydrogen and to develop a pipeline of tangible projects in this field in order to deploy “clean hydrogen” in Europe. Although its structure and governance are not yet clearly known, it should not have a fixed governing board (see EUROPE 12524/5), contrary to what a leaked document had suggested (see EUROPE 12521/5). In the coming days, a list of all organisations that have already joined this initiative should be published on the Alliance website. (DG)
