Internet access must become new human right, says David Sassoli

24/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – The President of the European Parliament, David Sassoli, has said that internet access should be considered a human right. This statement was made in an open letter published in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica on Friday 24 July, in response to an enquiry by former Italian Prime Minister and former President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi.
