European Commission is setting up a task force to help Member States prepare national recovery plans

The European Commission is reorganising internally in order to be able to accompany the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, the budgetary instrument at the heart of the European Recovery Plan agreed by the European Council on Tuesday 21 July (see EUROPE B12532A2).

Within the Secretariat-General of the European institution, a specific task force will be set up reporting directly to President Ursula von der Leyen. It will be operational as of 16 August and provisionally,...
