Commission recalls that EU Member States committed to resettle 30,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) on their territory

22/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission recalled, on Friday 19 June, that the Member States had committed to resettle nearly 30,000 refugees on their territory in 2020, contrary to a mistake in the short ‘Migration’ section of the EUROPE bulletin 12510. This error, suggesting that these people were going to be relocated in their country of origin, was corrected in the electronic version.
