European Commission and Japan sign bilateral aviation safety agreement

22/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 22 June, the European Commission and Japan signed a bilateral aviation safety agreement (BASA), which should facilitate cooperation and increase trade in aeronautical products between Japanese and European manufacturers. The agreement should also make it possible to increase trade and European manufacturers’ share of the Japanese market, according to the Commission.
