05/06/2020 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 5 June, the European Commission notified of the initiation of a review on the expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of Chinese PSC wires and strands. This review was requested by the European Stress Information Service (ESIS), which represents more than 25% of the total production of these products in the EU. The association does consider that the expiry of the definitive anti-dumping duties, imposed in 2015 and amended in 2019, would be likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of dumping. Since the Commission considers the evidence to be sufficient, the review will therefore assess the need for the continued imposition of anti-dumping duties.
