European Parliament and EU Council negotiators hope to reach an agreement on transitional measures for CAP by end of June

The Parliament's rapporteur on transitional measures for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), Elsi Katainen (Renew Europe, Finland), said, on Tuesday 26 May, that she hoped an interinstitutional Agreement on this dossier could be reached by the end of June. (see EUROPE B12476A18, B12465A11).

The European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture took stock of the results of the first trilogue on 20 May between the EU Council, the Parliament and the Commission, on transitional measures.
