EU RESPONSE TO COVID-19 / Transport
Sixteen Member States support a temporary amendment to European regulation on air passenger rights
Brussels, 30/04/2020 (Agence Europe)

In a joint statement unveiled on Wednesday 29 April, 12 States - Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland and Portugal - called on the European Commission to propose, as a matter of urgency, a temporary amendment to Regulation 261/2004 on air passenger rights.

Germany, Romania, Spain and Estonia supported this request on the same day during the Transport Ministers' videoconference (see other news).
