Poland is considering a ‘Netflix tax’

30/04/2020 (Agence Europe) – Poland plans to introduce a 1.5% surcharge on revenues of streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV+, Polish Finance Minister Tadeusz Kościński said on Wednesday 29 April. According to the Polish government, this additional levy could generate up to 3.3 million euros and this revenue would be paid directly to the Polish Film Institute.
